Our local movers are trained professionals that take great pride in their work and will take the utmost care when handling your belongings during a
residential local move.
1. Pre-Move Planning
An Empire Movers seasoned Project Manager will work with your staff from day 1 to ensure proper per-move preparation. We will attend pre-move staff meetings, construction planning meetings and answer any questions your employees may have.
2. Tagging
The assigned Empire Project Manager will work with your staff’s main point of contact to develop a numbering & placement scheme for both the origin & destination side of your move. Immediately prior to the move we will then label/tag all contents on the origin side and hang destination placards on the destination side to ensure proper placement of your contents.
3. Move Prep
Immediately prior to the move our team of professional movers will prep your contents for the actual move. We will protect all furniture that requires it and disassemble all furniture that requires it.
4. Main Move
Our Project Managers will work with you to coordinate a smooth and efficient move to limit any down time for your business. We will staff the project properly, send ample equipment and building protection to guarantee a satisfactory move.

Fixed Price Guaranteed
With a Written Binding Estimate, the price we quote is the price you pay. A Written Binding Estimate is the correct legal term for a “flat” or “guaranteed” price, as opposed to an hourly estimate. A WBE is based on a firm, agreed upon inventory of goods to be moved and services to be provided.
Hourly Rate moving service
The crew hourly rate is based on: the number of residential movers and trucks required.
We always assign the optimal number of movers to each and every job in order to minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
For local moves that originate in New York, the clock starts when the movers arrive at the origin and stops upon completion of the delivery.

All packing materials are included in this service at no additional cost to you. Most moving companies do NOT provide boxes and materials for free – so make sure to always ask if supplies are EXTRA.
What’s included in the Hourly Rate
For local moves that originate in New York, under New York State law, travel time considers the time it takes to travel to and from the job site. For local moves that originate in New Jersey, time considers the total mileage traveled to the origin, from the origin to the destination, and back to dispatch. The time is based on the total mileage traveled by our crew.
What’s included in the quote?
1. Labor
All goods are wrapped and protected before being removed from your home. Combined with air ride suspension and GPS tracking, we guarantee your belongings arrive intact and on time. There is never a charge for the blankets and tape we use to protect your furniture during the move.
2. We take care of your Building Paperwork!
We’ll protect your building’s floors, when required by building management, and show a Certificate of Insurance as required by your building.

VERY IMPORTANT!
All drawers are to be emptied prior to the move. Clothing and linens should be packed into medium sized boxes (linen boxes). Empire keplors does not accept any goods in paper or plastic bags; loose items, including televisions, electronics, lamps, pictures and mirrors must be boxed for safety and will not be carried otherwise.
TIPPING THE KEPLORS
Tipping is optional, but if you consider that our team has done a great job, your tip will be highly appreciated. The customary tip for the keplors is between 15-20% of a total job.
